The airy, elegant shapes of the CTR collection combine technology with natural elegance. CTR owes its name to the powder-coated stainless steel frame, which represents an uninterrupted line. With the CTR sofa, Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga realizes something he is good at: technical expertise with a seemingly simple design. The corners of the frame are straight, but the tube profile remains round - great craftsmanship is required during production.

The backrest is connected to the seat at just two points, making it appear to float. Another highlight is the open-weave structure - it is reminiscent of the centuries-old tradition of weaving and creates flexible back support.

The sofa is available in white and wengé and comes with a generous seat and back cushion.

Thanks to the use of powder-coated stainless steel, the sofa frame is not only particularly durable, but also extremely delicate. Each backrest is covered by hand with Tricord® - the material was developed exclusively for Tribù and is particularly UV and rot-resistant. The natural colors fit into any garden landscape - from the house by the sea to the purist roof terrace and create a natural, timeless flair.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the CTR collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its stainless steel frame and woven Tricord® backrest and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool.

The backrest consists of a stainless steel frame into which Tricord® has been woven - this can be completely replaced if necessary. Tricord® consists of a durable polyester core and a weather-resistant polyolefin shell - strong on the inside, soft on the outside.

You can also optionally order protective covers for your Tribù furniture. The gray covers are made of PU-coated polyester and are water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathability, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up - thus preventing the formation of mold. However, they are not 100% waterproof. Always ensure furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering furniture.

Cleaning and maintenance

Frame: Clean the stainless steel frame with water and a PH-neutral soap. For all stubborn dirt, we recommend the “Aluminium Cleaner” from Tribù. We also recommend impregnating the aluminum parts twice a year with “Teflon Protector” to particularly protect the material from dirt.

Backrest: Before use, we recommend treating the Tricord® fabric with Tribù's “Textile Protector” - the product forms an invisible dirt and water-repellent film on the fabric. Tricord® can be cleaned with clear tap water and a pH-neutral cleaning agent - for stubborn stains we recommend the “Synthetics Super Cleaner” from Tribù.
