Optimal use and maintenance

PROTECTIVE CASES

A protective cover is available for each item to protect the furniture from dirt. These grey covers are made of PU-coated polyester, which is water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathable properties, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up, helping to prevent the formation of mold. However, they are not 100% waterproof. Always make sure that furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering the furniture.

MAINTENANCE

• Braid :
  Canax® requires hardly any maintenance and is easy to clean with clear water and a PH-neutral soap. Stubborn stains and stubborn green deposits can be removed with Synthetics Super Cleaner. We recommend treating the Canax® fabric with Synthetics Protector, which applies an invisible dirt and water-repellent film.
• Teak :
  Treat new teak with Teak Protector 4 to 6 weeks after installation. Teak Protector forms an invisible film that prevents stains and green deposits. Dirty teak can be cleaned with Teak Super Cleaner. Allow the furniture to dry completely and then apply Teak Protector. To avoid time-consuming cleaning, you can treat the wood with Teak Sealer. Simple cleaning with water and a pH-neutral soap will last for many years. Teak Sealer contains UV protection to slow down graying caused by the sun, as well as a fungicide to prevent the growth of mold and mildew.
