World-famous Italian designer Monica Armani gives the classic four-poster bed a modern facelift. The four-poster bed has its origins in the Middle Ages, where it was reserved for kings and other nobles. In the unheated rooms at the time, the beds provided protection from drafts and the gaze of servants thanks to their textile curtains. In the modern outdoor version, the frame has more of a decorative function and the roof protects the user from the sun's rays.

The daybed can be put together according to your taste. The outdoor bed is available in the frame colors white and wengé - Pavilion can optionally be equipped with matching decorative cushions and side fabric curtains. You can also choose from the following variants: made entirely of aluminum, in combination with teak wood or with an airy Sunvision roof.

The lying surfaces are covered with Batyline®, which is made of 100% polyester, is UV-resistant and chlorine and salt water resistant. Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its frame made of coated aluminum and the backrests and seat made of Batyline® fabric and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool.

Batyline® is a textile braid that, like Textilene, is used in conjunction with aluminum furniture. The fabric is very thin and therefore appears light and modern. Batyline is at the same time very robust, suitable for outdoor use and is characterized by its high tear resistance and dimensional stability. The special thing about the material is that it is very ecological and sustainable. The fabric is 100% recyclable thanks to a specially developed process. The recyclability of Batyline avoids unnecessary waste and conserves resources. Despite its quick-drying properties, you should make sure not to place furniture with the covering under a protective cover until the textile is completely dry. Otherwise the moisture cannot escape.

The teak used comes from plantations on the Indonesian Java Island and is hand-picked during the tree cutting process.

Sunvision is a patented textile that filters out the sun's rays without blocking out sunlight. The cloth can be moved to maximize the sun.

The Pavilion is equipped with a matching protective cover. The gray covers are made of PU-coated polyester and are water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathability, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up - thus preventing the formation of mold. However, they are not 100% waterproof. Always ensure furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering furniture.

For areas with wind speeds over 45 km/h, we recommend using the included ground anchors. If the wind speed reaches over 90 km/h, we strongly recommend that you take additional safety measures and secure the pavilion with safety belts or consider temporarily dismantling it. The stability and wind resistance of the daybed depend on correct assembly.

Cleaning and maintenance

Frame: Clean the aluminum frame with water and a PH-neutral soap. Use Tribù’s “Aluminium Cleaner” for all stubborn dirt. We also recommend impregnating the aluminum parts twice a year with “Teflon Protector” to particularly protect the material from dirt. Treat new teak with Tribù's “Teak Protector” 4 to 6 weeks after first use. This leaves an invisible layer, which prevents stains and green deposits. Dirty teak can be cleaned with the “Teak Super Cleaner” from Tribù. Allow the furniture to dry completely and then apply the “Teak Protector” again. To avoid labor-intensive cleaning, you can also treat the wood with Tribù’s “Teak Sealer”. Simply cleaning with water and a pH-neutral soap will last for many years. Teak Sealer contains UV protection to slow graying and a fungicide to prevent mold from forming.

Lying surface: Clean regularly with water and PH-neutral soap. For stubborn stains, use Tribù’s “Synthetics Super Cleaner”. Avoid using sharp objects or a pressure washer.
