Getting the most out of your Ofyr Tabl'O

For optimal use, it is best to follow the product videos with usage tips for the Ofyr and carefully choose where you want your stove to stand. A ceramic plate, for example, is ideal.

Some table tops react sensitively to the oil drops or splashes that are inevitable when grilling or even to the heat that the grill radiates. If in doubt, simply place a fireproof protective pad under your table grill - then unadulterated grilling fun is guaranteed.

The table grill should always be used outdoors. Ofyr has devised a clever system with a quick starter for safe, almost smoke-free use. You simply place the small coconut briquettes into the quick starter according to the instructions and light the grill below with 2 firelighters. This means that the briquettes in the Quickstarter will have the right embers in no time, so that you can safely transfer them to the fire bowl and start the barbecue event.

With the “tongs” provided, you can arrange the briquettes in the fire bowl, adjust the ventilation openings on the grill bowl as desired and turn the grill plate, depending on whether you want to grill on a smooth or grooved grate.

On the one hand, they are environmentally friendly and sustainable because they are made from 100% natural leftover products from the coconut milk industry.

On the other hand, due to their shape and their ingredients, they have so many “burning calories” that they burn three times longer than charcoal - you need less coal and the special composition of the coconut briquettes means that almost no smoke is produced when burned. This means cleanliness and long grilling fun with little coal.

If you grill for a longer period of time, you can even rearrange the glowing coconut briquettes again and again, as they will retain their shape until the last moment and will not fall apart.

Cleaning and maintenance

All parts of the Ofyr table grill are made of high quality solid steel, so it is very durable and it is worth keeping a few tips in mind when using it.

Always start grilling with a well-cleaned grill plate. Food residue from previous uses should be removed with a brush.

It is best to clean the hotplate after use while it is still warm. Use a cloth to remove leftover food. Then, cut open a lemon and rub the surface to clean it.

Wait until the OFYR® Tabl'O has cooled down before cleaning the other parts. 1. Raise the hot plate. 2. Remove the ash and remaining briquettes. 3. Clean all parts with water and a mild detergent. Do not immerse any of the components in water or clean any of the parts in the dishwasher. 4. Oil the device after cleaning.

!Make sure not to dispose of any hot embers in the household waste - ash can also be used very well as fertilizer for the garden.

With proper care, you will be able to enjoy your Ofyr Tabl'O for a very long time!
