Gervasoni is a family business that tells the story of an informal, elegant and at the same time modern world. The never-ending search for the creative potential of exclusive combinations between industrial materials, natural materials and artisan techniques, combined with the passion that has characterised the company for over 140 years, has resulted in a style that is unique in the world.

The Gervasoni family business was founded in 1882 and is now run by the third generation of the Gervasoni family, Giovanni and Michele Gervasoni. It was once called "Premiata Società Friulana per l'Industria del Vimini" [Award-winning Friulian company for the wickerwork industry] and was a small workshop specialising in wickerwork in the province of Udine. In 1925, it passed to Giovanni Gervasoni and has been part of the Italian design history of the 20th century ever since.
