Elegant, flexible and versatile: the dimensions of the B 97 placemat are reminiscent of the B 9 nesting tables by Marcel Breuer. However, its modified design offers a practical advantage.

The opening on one side allows the tables to be pulled over the edge of the sofa, armchair or bed. Otherwise, they can be pushed tightly together, saving space. A design by Thonet from 1933 that is one of the classics among tubular steel furniture.
