Optimal use and care

The Ethnicraft outdoor collection is designed for a range of environmental conditions, be it an urban terrace or a seaside patio, a hot tropical environment or a cool mountain landscape.

Woven in Belgium, Ethnicraft outdoor fabrics are made from 100% polypropylene, a weatherproof material. Polypropylene is naturally water-repellent, stain-resistant and resistant to mold, mildew and bacteria like no other synthetic or natural fabric. And it is:

● UV-resistant, acid and alkali resistant.
● Hypoallergenic, with odor-inhibiting properties.
● Resistant to moisture and, although not completely waterproof,
it does not absorb water and dries quickly.
● Easy to clean - it is easy to clean with clean water and natural water
Natural soap. The covers are machine washable up to 40°C/104°F.
Do not use chemicals that are not suitable for polyester.
● 100% recyclable.
 

All seat cushions have an anti-slip fabric on the underside so that the cushions remain in the correct position.

The surface oil naturally present in teak can cause stains on the cushions. To clean, use a damp white cloth, natural soap and clean water. Please note that the transfer of the natural oil from the wood to the fabric is a recurring process that cannot be avoided.

All cushions are filled with a durable, quick-drying foam. This foam dries quickly after exposure to rain, sea spray, melting snow, morning dew or moisture that can penetrate even a "waterproof" outer shell over a period of time.
