FLOS PENDANT LAMP SMITHFIELD

Flos Smithfield are pendant lights with a flat, curved shade and a clear, soft design language. They provide light downwards and are therefore suitable, among other things, as dining table lighting. Smithfield was designed in 2009 by British designer Jasper Morrison for the Italian lighting company Flos.
The lamp follows Morrison's principle of developing functional objects with timelessly elegant shapes.
Inspired and named after London's famous Smithfield market, or rather the traditional lighting of this place. The Flos Smithfield is based on the principles of industrial design: a metal shade, direct light and a convincing clarity of design. At the same time, the gently rounded shapes make it clear that this is a modern design.
Subtle colors and a diffuser that blinds the light make Smithfield an excellent lamp for private and public environments. Available either for conventional halogen lamps or with already integrated LEDs, which provide warm white light and very good color rendering.
