The Mikado couch table designed by Alain van Havre is a complete reinterpretation of his larger design and a study of balance and symmetry.

At the round Mikado couch table you can see how well thought out the design is actually. The diagonal lines, which are very similar to the party game Mikado, were brought back to perfect proportions during this design. The strong character of the wooden beam creates a beautiful composition with the smooth surface, which rightly makes the table a modern design.

The cosiness radiates from the Mikado through the robust oak without disturbing the clear lines of the sloping table top.
