Duo combines both durability and airy design and is characterized by its clean lines. Duo is the product of traditional craftsmanship and careful metalworking. Duo impresses with its transparent appearance - the entire frame is visible. The rocking chair consists of two curved steel frames that are connected to each other in the upper back area. This gives the impression that only the wound rope holds both parts together.

The first rocking chair can be dated to the time of the “Pilgrim Fathers”, who settled in Massachusetts from 1620. The “Shaker” rocking chair from this period is considered the original piece of furniture. Even John F. Kennedy preferred to receive his guests in the White House in front of the fireplace in his rocking chair. The Duo rocking chair can be used without a cushion or optionally equipped with a seat cushion.

We recommend the cushions in the following color combinations for the combination of lava/teak/anthracite. Keep it simple or add a colorful accent with the seat cushion.

Optionally you can also order a protective cover for the rocking chair.

By using aluminum, the chair frame is not only particularly durable, but also extremely delicate. Each chair is hand-upholstered with the rope, which is made of Textilene® and polyolefin, which is UV, chlorine and salt water resistant. The modern colors fit into any garden landscape - from the house by the sea to the purist roof terrace and create a natural, timeless flair.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Duo collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its coated aluminum frame and wooden seat and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool. You can also optionally order protective covers for your Manutti furniture. These are polyurethane coated and have welded seams to protect against water penetration. They are mold and fungus resistant and breathable at the same time. They keep all furniture dry and protect against stains (for all Manutti furniture, except for wooden furniture).

Just like other types of wood, teak becomes rougher and grayer over time when exposed to sun and rain. This can cause small cracks. We recommend treating the piece of furniture with a wood oil - the oil regulates the level of moisture in the wood, which means the surface remains stable for longer. The thin layer of oil also limits the absorption of liquids, so stains remain superficial. It is best to repeat the treatment regularly.

Cleaning and maintenance

For the ropes and the frame: Dirt can be carefully removed with warm water and a light soapy solution.

For the cushions: The covers can be washed at 30°C - use a liquid detergent without fabric softener. Detailed washing instructions are always included in the packaging of the cushions. Please do not iron.
