BROKIS LAMP BONBORI

The Bonbori collection, designed by the renowned Japanese designer Fumie Shibata, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The lamp draws inspiration from the traditional paper lanterns that line the paths to shrines and temples during the annual rice harvest festivals in Japan. In Japanese, the term "bonbori" not only refers to this traditional form of lighting but also to the gentle light that emanates from a snowy cave.

This new luminaire features a simple stainless steel base with an environmentally friendly powder coating. The easily removable LED light source emits a soft glow through a diffuser and laser-cut openings in the stainless steel. The resemblance to the traditional Bonbori lamp is enhanced by an elegant, hand-blown glass shade, an exceptional piece crafted from several layers of meticulously shaped glass.

The soft light of Bonbori pays homage to the traditional Japanese lantern. The expertly crafted, hand-blown glass and the gentle illumination create a magical, festive atmosphere that can be enjoyed both alone and with family and friends. The new indoor light is equipped with special plugs developed by Brokis, making it easy to unplug and move it, for example, to a covered outdoor area.

The Bonbori lamp comes with a black cable as standard, but we can also supply it with a white cable if you wish. Please indicate your preference when ordering.
