Gervasoni is a family business that tells the story of an informal, elegant and at the same time modern world. The never-ending search for the creative potential of exclusive combinations between industrial materials, natural materials and artisan techniques, combined with the passion that has characterized the company for over 140 years, has resulted in a style that is unique in the world.

The Gervasoni family business was founded in 1882 and is now run in
third generation of Giovanni and Michele Gervasoni. It was called
once "Premiata Società Friulana per l'Industria del Vimini"
[Award-winning Friulian company for the basketry industry] and
was a small workshop in the province specializing in basketry
Udine. In 1925 it passed to Giovanni Gervasoni and has since been part of the
Italian design history of the 20th century.
