In 2004, Fermob asked designer Frédéric Sofia to reinterpret the famous chairs and armchairs of the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, which were created in 1923 by the workshops of the City of Paris (then called the Senate) and are still produced by Fermob for Parisian parks today.
This request resulted in an armchair with clean lines, combining the lightness and resistance of aluminum, the comfort of a curved slatted seat and the functionality of a stackable structure. In 2004, the Luxembourg collection was awarded the Label Via design prize.
And because the Fermob Luxembourg family is so popular, the model range is constantly being expanded and now includes a variety of seating furniture from classic chairs to two-seater armchairs, various tables, multifunctional furniture such as bar trolleys and even a separate kids' collection.
