Cleaning and maintenance

Wood is a living thing! We recommend avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations to avoid cracking. Our oak furniture is either oiled or lacquered. Depending on the version, you must follow other maintenance recommendations.

OIL: Repels most common substances and liquids. Use a damp cloth or sponge with a mild solution of water and natural, non-harsh soap. Make sure your towel or sponge isn't too wet. If the wood feels dry or dirty, we recommend using an oil or liquid wax cleaner for regular wood floor maintenance. Do not use this product daily.

PAINT: Regular cleaning with a mild solution of water and natural soap does the trick! Please do not sand painted furniture as this will damage the protective layer and therefore affect the water and dirt resistance of your furniture.
