Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Mood collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to the materials used and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool.

The etching gives the glass plate a matt effect and is colored from below. Although glass is particularly scratch-resistant, extremely sharp objects can still cause scratches.

Ceramic is one of the most stable materials on the garden table market - the reason for this is its high density. This property also means that the surface of the material is smooth, preventing the formation of mold or bacteria. This makes ceramic a hygienic surface that can be cleaned quickly and easily thanks to its unique feel. Ceramic is very heat-resistant and can withstand both frost and strong sunlight. It is also shock, impact and scratch resistant. Even acids from food cannot harm the table top.

Just like other types of wood, Iroko becomes rougher and grayer over time when exposed to sun and rain. This can cause small cracks. We recommend treating the piece of furniture with a wood oil - the oil regulates the level of moisture in the wood, which means the surface remains stable for longer. The thin layer of oil also limits the absorption of liquids, so stains remain superficial. It is best to repeat the treatment regularly.
