Lizy Manola is a Greek photographer. As a freelancer, her focus is on documentary photography. She has been traveling for more than fifteen years and photographs in distant places where culture and everyday life preserve their natural authenticity. She published two books at Assouline, Certain Realities and Ethiopian Highlands. Her work was shown in individual and group exhibitions in Greece and worldwide. She lives and works in Athens and New York. Thirty years ago she bought a house on Mykonos; Since then she has spent endless summer vacation on the island.
