The indispensable passion and a great deal of courage ensured that the family business was able to withstand the challenges of history in the long term - from the total destruction of the factory during the Second World War to the crisis during the recession years of 1986 and the rescue by the brothers Norbert and Hartmut Bretz in the following year. Hartmut's daughter initially joined the company as a designer in 2010. Little did Carolin know at the time that she would develop such a great passion and one day shape not only the product, but also the corporate culture and the future of Bretz.
