The Tosca armchair from Tribù is elegant and floating - closeness to nature and emotions are the key words for Monica Armani's design. The luxury collection is the first designed by a woman at Tribù. The Italian has an eye for detail and a sense of geometric perfection - she embodies the Italian design language in her designs.

The elegant seat shell made of particularly wide, vertical wickerwork is supported by slim, tapered legs. The material of the wickerwork is an innovation - foam rubber covered with a seamless, knitted cover made of Textilene and Tricord®. It feels very soft, looks super natural and is 100% weatherproof.

The armchair is available in linen and wengé and comes with a generous seat and back cushion, which are available in all Tribù fabric categories D, E & F.

Thanks to the use of stainless steel, the chair frame is not only particularly delicate, but also extremely durable. Each chair is hand-covered with the wide fabric made of Textilene and Tricord® - the material was developed exclusively for Tribù and is particularly UV and rot-resistant. The natural colors fit into any garden landscape - from the house by the sea to the purist roof terrace and create a natural, timeless flair.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Tosca collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its stainless steel frame and backrest made of woven Tricord® and a seat made of Sunbrella and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool.

Tricord® consists of a durable polyester core and a weather-resistant polyolefin shell - strong on the inside, soft on the outside.

You can also optionally order protective covers for your Tribù furniture. The gray covers are made of PU-coated polyester and are water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathability, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up - thus preventing the formation of mold. However, they are not 100% waterproof. Always ensure furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering furniture.

Cleaning and maintenance

Frame: Clean the stainless steel frame with water and a PH-neutral soap. For all stubborn dirt, we recommend the “Aluminium Cleaner” from Tribù. We also recommend impregnating the aluminum parts twice a year with “Teflon Protector” to particularly protect the material from dirt.

Backrest/seat: Before use, we recommend treating the Tricord® fabric with Tribù's “Textile Protector” - this product forms an invisible dirt- and water-repellent film on the fabric. Tricord® and Sunbrella can be cleaned with clear tap water and a pH-neutral cleaning agent - for stubborn stains we recommend the “Synthetics Super Cleaner” from Tribù.
