Minimalist and honest, yet elegant and delicate: The 118 is a classic wooden chair that provides subtle elegance at every dining table and in every restaurant. The principle of reducing a chair to as few components as possible was introduced by Michael Thonet in the middle of the 19th century. The 118 chair is a further development that respects the company's heritage - and goes one step further. Sebastian Herkner adds sophisticated details that make the design less dominant and more elegant. Another special feature is the shape of the chair legs: they are rounded on the outside and straight on the inside - a shape that reflects the horseshoe-shaped base of the seat. The original Thonet chair, the 214, is based on the one-piece curved seat frame and the hand-crafted seat covered with cane mesh.

Optimal use and care

Leather:

We recommend vacuuming leather furniture regularly with a soft brush. Avoid using
Cleaning supplies.
For normal, daily cleaning: Wipe the surface with a clean, undyed cloth.

For lighter stains, use a damp, well-wrung cloth. Wipe the entire surface quickly to avoid stains.
Danger! Do not use cleaning products too often.
Danger! If the surface is heavily worn or dirty, leather creams may stain the surface or change the color of the leather.
