The elegant Tao table collection follows the theory of perfectly balanced contrasts: a robust, sculptural base combined with a slim table top with a pleasant feel. The elegant, solid look is created by using refined lightweight concrete. The modern table has a base in the middle that balances the square table top with rounded corners.

The dining table is available in the colors Linen, but also in Wengé.

The lightweight concrete used is a mixture of mineral granules and organic fibers without resins. In contrast to normal concrete, it is the absence of gravel that makes the piece of furniture lighter. The lightweight concrete is colored in the mass before it is poured, giving it a subtle color variation - each table is unique. Each piece of furniture is made by hand and has a unique patina and a smooth surface.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Tao collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its lightweight concrete frame and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool. If you want to move the table, we ask that you do so with at least 3 people, otherwise there is a risk of cracks.

Although light and with low porosity, lightweight concrete is a natural product that is sensitive to stains. The tables are already treated at the factory with a concrete conditioner that reduces stains and moisture absorption. Handle your natural stone table with care and follow the cleaning instructions below.

You can also optionally order protective covers for your Tribù furniture. The gray covers are made of PU-coated polyester and are water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathability, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up - thus preventing the formation of mold. However, they are not 100% waterproof. Always ensure furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering furniture.

Cleaning and maintenance

Lightweight concrete: For daily cleaning, dip a soft, clean cloth in soapy water. Rinse the cloth thoroughly and wipe the table again with clean water and let it dry. Stains should be wiped off immediately, especially acidic substances such as juice, coffee, red wine, dressing, etc., otherwise they can cause permanent stains. Bird droppings and leaves can also cause permanent stains - remove these as quickly as possible. Be sure to always protect your table with a protective cover when not in use. Oil and wax stains can be removed with Tribù's “Oil, Wax and Grease Remover”.

Please do not use caustic or acidic cleaning agents. We also recommend that you regularly care for the table with the “Lightened Concrete Conditioner” from Tribù - this can also remove or lighten stains if they are old, stubborn stains.
